The effect news has on brands

News and press can destroy a brand very quickly and easily with the right facts displayed in the right way. Brands are allowed to take legal action if the accusations are false, but if the accusations are true and the brand just wants to stop the rumours at the source, then the brand could face large fines and legal action. For example Shane Dawson released a documentary series including a theory about Chuck E Cheese pizza being reused and served again to other customers. In the American Amendment, it is stated that if an 'accusation' is stated to be just a theory and not concrete facts, then no legal action can be taken because they have not actually accused the brand of fraud or deceipt.

The Hideout Bodmin College is fundraising for a 'hideout' for the students in The Greenfield Centre, which is an Area Resource Base inside the college which meets the needs of students with severe learning difficulties. The Hideout is a sensory area for Greenfield students, where they can go to relax.
