Plan for halloween photoshoot

Image
I don't like being the subject of photoshoots, and i like playing with light and shadows, and landscapes. There's an alleyway (road surrounded by trees) with fake blood splattered  on the floor. I'm going to tread a pair of shoes that I don't like through it, and make shoe prints on the ground.  This is a combination of what I want it to look like;

Album covers - Common Conventions

Most include the face of the artist, or a face shape. Most include a pop of colour, or drastic contrasts (black and white) Has the name of the album on it. Digitally edited. Most have the name of the artist. Most of the artists have a straight face/expression. Most aren't looking directly at the camera. Some have a symbol represent the band/artist. The best album covers really attract your eye maybe with colours, with the subject, with editing or with props.

My First Photoshoot

Image
This one has good depth (the back is out of focus, bringing more attention to the subject) The background is also quite pretty. This one shows two photos we took. The first has good detail in the background, but too much to focus on as the viewer. The second one has no background focus which- in my opinion- looks better, as it brings more attention to the subject.  This has good a good background (unfocused) and good lighting but the background itself is bland and ugly (the road and the dead leaves).                    The picture below also has a good background and focus, bringing attention to the subjects. There's good lighting on them and good detail (from camera quality) which really highlights their features. The photo captivates friendship and happiness.

Shirin Neshat

Image
Shirin Neshat Shirin Neshat, born 1957, is an Iranian contemporary artist. She is 1 of 5 children with wealthy parents. She was brought up Muslim. She was deemed the artist of the decade. She was married to Kyong Park, but divorced- and is now with Shoja Azar. Her pictures show the strength of women and combats the stereotypes. The writing on the faces and hands are Persian poetry. Farsi poetry.   What i'll need to do; -either write the poems on myself, or edit them on in photoshop later. -in black and white, or vintage yellowy/brown -makeup wipes (if i write instead of editing) -bangles of sorts?
