LO: to identify the target audience using demographics and psychographics.

 Psychographics is a qualitative methodology used to describe consumers on psychological attributes.
Demographic- relating to the structure of the populations.

 5 categories- Age, Gender, Sexuality, Race, Social Class

 The movie targets a family audience
This could be split into the following groups; Young kids who play with Lego
                                                                          Parents who played with it when they were young
                                                                          Young adult cinema-goers.

 Explain how the movie appeals to each part of the target audience:
Children- Lego
Teenagers- Superheroes and Tv show references 
Parents- Older film references
Grandparents- References to historical events and people

 The film appeals to both genders. The film has an action narrative for the males, and a romance narrative female (stereotypically).

Non-Diegetic -Title music: theme tunes (connote genre/represent TV drama). -Score/incidental music: orchestral music used to connote tone/atmosphere. -Sound motifs: sounds associated with certain characters (often a villain like the shark in Jaws) that connote something good/bad is about to happen. -Sound effects: used to connote atmosphere. -Voice over: often used to give the viewer an isight into the thoughts of the character (creating a bond between the audience and character), set the scene or progress the narrative.
